The High Level Conference – EU Security Forum put a spotlight on European defence, with two panels on developing and financing defence capabilities and speeches from NATO and Ukraine representatives.
The second half of the Polish presidency of the Council of the European Union is about to begin. We are shaping the European Union as a strong, influential and responsible Presidency. We have brought security and competitiveness to the mainstream of EU work. Thanks to our commitment and determination, EU leaders have realised that the current measures are insufficient to address the escalating threats. We have made Europe speak with a Polish voice and EU institutions shape their work plans to implement the priorities of the Polish presidency.
On 2 April, a meeting of the Executive Committee of the European Crime Prevention Network (EUCPN) was held in Warsaw. It was attended by representatives of Poland, Denmark, Cyprus, Italy and Belgium, as well as the EUCPN Secretariat and the European Commission. The session was chaired by the National Representative of Poland to the EUCPN.
